The company was founded on the principal of creating a hair care line based on the natural ingredients of the most bio-diverse region in the world- the Amazon Rain Forest.   The Amazon covers an area larger than the continental U.S. and contains the largest tropical forest in the world.  The Amazon River Basin contains nearly 1/3 of all the world's species and 1/4 of the earth's fresh water.  We believe that we must not allow these precious and irreplaceable resources to be lost, and that one of the answers to preserving this amazing resource is through conscious consumption.

To that end, the products of Amazonia Nutrients, Inc. contain only ingredients certified by the Forest Stewardship Council, which results in effective social inclusion of local communities, reduction of poverty in the region, extraction of raw materials with environmental responsbility, and prevents deforestation of the Amazon Rain Forest.

Ingredients are 100% renewable plant resources, which are farmed by indigenous communities of the Amazon in such a manner which promotes integrated and sustainable handling of the environment for non-timber products from the Amazon region.

We are proud to bring to the world the unique natural ingredients of the Amazon, and to donate a portion of sales proceeds to the Nature Conservancy, to further it's mission to preserve the plants, animals and natural communities of the Earth, in all its diversity.

Our formulas do not contain parabens, artificial colors or fragrances, and our products are NEVER tested on animals.   All packaging is recyclable and the color protects the essential oils and actives inside.  Our goal is to promote social and environmental responsibility.
